The 2014 Annual Meeting and potluck supper of the Audubon Society of Kalamazoo (ASK) will be held at Wolf Lake Fish Hatchery Visitor Center on Monday, May 19, 2014. The potluck will begin at 6:00 PM (although you may arrive anytime after 5:00 if you would like to wander around the grounds or explore the Visitor Center before dinner) and will be followed by the Annual Meeting, at which time ASK Officers and Board Members for the 2014–2015 term will be elected.
Wolf Lake Fish Hatchery is on Fish Hatchery Road (CR 652). Go west on M-43 about one mile past the Kalamazoo/Van Buren County line and turn left (or south) onto Fish Hatchery Road. Turn into the second drive on your right, about a tenth of a mile. The Visitor Center’s grounds and Michigan wildlife and ecological exhibits (indoors) will be open for all to enjoy.
The potluck will be held in the Visitor Center Conference Room just off the main reception area. Please bring a dish to pass and your own plates, table service, and beverage. At the conclusion of the Annual Meeting, there will be an informal bird walk around the grounds, so bring your binoculars.
Come enjoy some great company and great food, thank those who have volunteered their time during this past year, elect and welcome the new ASK Officers and Board Members, and enjoy a delightful bird walk around the ponds and through the woods.
Guests and the general public are welcome to attend. Please park in the visitors’ parking lot. Handicap parking and access is adjacent to the Visitor Center.
