Join Ken Cook, a nature and wildlife photographer from Holland, Michigan, as he takes you to experience the vast amount of birding and related activities that are available in Southeast Arizona. What makes this area unique is that there are species of birds that are found only in that part of North America. His presentation will cover birding in both the spring and summer seasons. The topography of the area leads to different birds found at different elevations. Additionally, recent floods and forest fires have affected what birds are currently found in this area.

Ken is a native of Holland and a graduate of Hope College. He has been photographing over 25 years pursuing his passion. He is a member of the Holland Audubon Club, charter member of the North American Nature Photography Association, and Tulip City Camera Club.

His work can be found at the following website: https://www.flickr.com/photos/kencookhollandmiphotos.

You are invited to join us to meet and hear Ken on February 25, 2019, at People’s Church, 1758 North 10th Street, Kalamazoo. Our program starts at 7:30 PM and is preceded by a social time with light refreshments at 7:00 PM. Guests and the public are encouraged to attend.
