Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery can be reached by going west on M-43. About six miles west of US-131 (about one mile west of the Kalamazoo County line), turn left (south) onto County Road 652 (Fish Hatchery Road). Turn into the second driveway to the right and meet there in the Visitor Center parking lot.

We will hike the trails looking for early, early migrants including any waterfowl on the ponds. The Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery grounds provide a variety of habitats that are attractive to several species. Dress warmer than you expect as it tends to be breezy and chilly on the open grounds and wear boots for puddles or mud.
