We will meet at the north end of the Harding’s Market parking lot on M-43 in Richland.
This large wetland complex is a reliable site for marsh birds. We’ll “explore” the area from the roadsides; the marsh is all private property. The marsh has a nice mix of open marsh, shrubby marsh, and wooded swamps. This combination should allow us to find a good mix of migrant and resident species. We may be walking about a mile or so along the gravel roads. I’m expecting that we’ll spend a couple of hours.
