Join ASK and the Friends of the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail for a chance to see and learn about our native summer wildflowers that grow along the trail. You will also learn about the threats to the survival of this wonderful summer flora. No prior knowledge is required – only an interest in the natural world and the environment. If you do have a wildflower field guide, bring it! Round trip is maximum two miles and the walking is easy, as the trail is paved and flat. Bring insect repellent in case it is buggy. This walk will be held rain or shine, and will take about 1.5 hours. If you are unable to walk that distance, you may ride in a golf cart but pre-registration is required as space is limited.
