Meet at the barns, at the end of the drive. From the light in Richland, go north 1.75 miles to BC Avenue, turn right and go about 1.5 miles to West Gull Lake Drive, turn left and go about a half mile north to 10083 West Gull Lake Drive (note: no roadside house number, metal gate at drive that only goes west).
We will walk a loop on a portion of the Boudeman Conservation Farm, one of the largest conservation easement holdings overseen by Southwest Michigan Land Conservancy. Wet edges, ponds, woodlots, and wooded edges will be visited. Migrants, locals, and edge species are all expected. The walk will be about two hours on level mowed or two-track paths.
