Field trips and bird counts are held rain or shine; they are only cancelled in severe weather. Contact the leader listed or check the ASK Facebook page if conditions are questionable.

Celebrate Winter Birds & Blooms with activities for the whole family!
- Make pinecone bird feeders.
- Participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count. (A limited number of binoculars will be available to borrow.)
- Learn how native plants benefit birds.
- Decorate kid-friendly "binoculars."
- Purchase locally-made birdhouses.
- Enjoy coffee, hot cocoa and cookies.
- And more!

Open to all ages. Dress warm for the walk; the trails can be windy! If extreme weather or other factors cause a cancellation, this will be communicated at Facebook.com/wolflakehatchery.
This event is presented in partnership with Michigan DNR, the Friends of Wolf Lake, Kalamazoo in Bloom, Kalamazoo Area Wild Ones, Southwest Michgan Land Conservancy, and VanBuren County Conservation District.
