Field Trip, Bird Walks

Portage Bicentennial Trail Celery Flats

Wednesday, May 24, 6:30 PM, Portage Bicentennial Trail Celery Flats Parking Lot on Garden Lane (east end of lot) Co-leaders: Donna Keller (269-207-2874) and Jan Shillito

This field trip is geared toward people with limited mobility, but birders of all ages and ability are welcome. We will bird mostly from the paved parking area and the sidewalk around the picnic pavilion, moving only to get better views of birds in the area and remaining on paved surfaces. Resident birds and late migrant warblers such as American Redstart, Magnolia, Bay-breasted, Blackburnian, Chestnut-sided, and Canada will be targets. Please call ahead if you would like to borrow a pair of ASK binoculars.
