Dear Valued Members,
Thank you for your past membership in our volunteer-led organization. We look forward to having you as a member for another year. As a reminder, our membership year begins on July 1st and ends on June 30th of the following year.
Your support through membership renewal and additional donations allows the Audubon Society of Kalamazoo to promote birds and birding with
- Monthly bird or nature programs on the 4th Monday of September-April, except December.
- Monthly Beginning Birding Walks.
- More than 20 birding field trips and nature walks to local and regional natural areas.
- An interesting and informative electronic monthly newsletter (September-June).
- Kalamazoo Area Christmas Bird Count.
- A potluck and bird walk at the Annual Meeting.
- More than 45 free classroom bird presentations annually to area schools.
- A variety of community presentations on bird-related topics.
- A local Rare Bird Alert e-mail network.
- Advocacy on environmental issues, particularly on the local level.
- Donations to local, national, and international organizations to help protect birds and their habitats.
- A Peregrine Falcon website and nest cam.
You may renew and/or donate online or download and print the membership form.
Any additional contributions beyond the membership fee ($15/individual, $25/household) will be treated as a donation and will be greatly appreciated! We are a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer organization; all donations to ASK are tax deductible. Gift memberships can also be made through the online portal or via mail.
If you are renewing for more than one person, please list the email of all members who wish to get the newsletter electronically.
