DNR suspects bird flu in recent Lower Michigan waterfowl die-offs

February 11, 2025 – MI DNR The Michigan Department of Natural Resources has recently sampled dead wild birds suspected to be positive for highly pathogenic avian influenza at multiple locations across Lower Michigan.
